Your Tasks:

As a software developer, you will implement applications for the PowerFactory grid calculation software.
Your tasks will focus on the further development and maintenance of various stationary calculation methods such as load flow, short circuit, network reduction, cable calculation and related methods.
Your responsibilities will include the entire development process: research, design, specification and implementation through to testing and maintenance.
You will support our application engineers with customer support.

Your Profile:

Successfully completed university studies as a Master/Dipl.-Ing. or Dr.-Ing. in electrical engineering with a focus on electrical power engineering or a comparable degree programme
Experience in the development of network calculation methods, in particular stationary calculations such as load flow analysis, network reduction or short-circuit calculation
Knowledge of modelling common equipment such as lines, transformers, generators, loads
Practical experience in an object-orientated programming language (such as C++, Java, C#)
Knowledge in the area of planning and operation of energy supply networks is an advantage
You have good command of written and spoken English. A good command of German is of advantage.
You are characterised by your teamwork and communication skills, motivation and ability to work under pressure
You enjoy deepening your expert knowledge and developing new subject areas
